What "IoR & SoR" actually means
To sell domestically on Coupang, someone with a Korean business identity has to import your goods and act as the seller of record. With Spark, that someone is Kontactic. Our Korean entity clears your products through customs as the Importer of Record (IoR) and lists and sells them as the Seller of Record (SoR) — so you don't need to form a company, open a Korean bank account, or hire a local team.
Legally, Spark runs on a consignment selling agreement (위탁판매대행). You keep ownership of your products and your brand the entire time; Kontactic sells on your behalf, deducts agreed costs and fees, and remits the net proceeds to you. It's the same demand you already see cross-border — captured locally, with none of the entity overhead.
